Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury: How Tyson’s brother sparked a dispute that will culminate in a multimillion-dollar boxing match.

TYSON FURY has kicked off negotiations for his brother Tommy’s upcoming multi-million-pound boxing battle against Jake Paul.

After Tommy went 5-0 in March, a single tweet from the Gypsy King drew Paul’s attention.

“@jakepaul where you at?” read the end of the social media message.

Despite his debut on the reality TV show Love Island in 2019, the YouTuber retorted that he had no idea who Tommy was.

“When I get to the bottom of the Tweet, he’s inviting me out to fight someone, and the Tweet is about his brother,” he explained.

“Oh, I had no idea he had a brother.” Then he summons me to fight his brother, and I think to myself, ‘Bro, what the f*** is going on here?’ I had no idea Tyson Fury had a sibling? Tyson Fury is one of my favorite fighters.

“I’m not looking for a fight with Tyson Fury, but if Tyson Fury took a s***, it’d be his younger brother.”

“He reminds me of a small child. This is where I make my point. You’re Tyson Fury’s younger sibling. If you want to combat me, don’t rely on your big brother.

Paul accused Fury’s girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague of texting him in 2018, and the British light-heavyweight insulted the American while wearing a blonde wig.

Paul, 24, went 3-0 in his career after knocking out retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37, shortly after the verbal jabs.

It came after victories over YouTube competitor ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37.

Tommy, 22, went 6-0 in June, while Paul was set to battle ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, in August.

Tommy had previously been considered an opponent, but his profile in the United States was deemed insufficient.

Instead, Paul would have his opponent fight on his undercard, against Anthony Taylor, 32, a sparring buddy of his.

Tommy, who inked a two-fight deal with Showtime in the United States, won on points, while Paul did the same, setting up a grudge bout.

The rivalry reached new heights when the two met backstage, resulting in a brawl between their teams.

“There was a period in that corridor where everything was going off between the guards, my crew, and…,” Tommy stated later. Brinkwire News in a Nutshell
