If the Anthony Joshua fight isn’t finalized by Tuesday, Tyson Fury says he’ll’move on’.
Tyson Fury is eager to reach a deal with Anthony Joshua as quickly as possible.
If nothing is settled by Tuesday, Tyson Fury has threatened to “move on” from his undisputed battle with Anthony Joshua. Fury, on the other hand, is optimistic that a fight agreement will be reached.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has said for a long time that a deal is close to being reached.
For quite some time, though, there has been no date announced for the most eagerly anticipated match.
For his next battle, Fury claims he has received a slew of “huge offers.”
And if a fight with Joshua isn’t set up by Tuesday, he says he’ll consider the other options.
“I’m waiting,” Fury remarked to Behind The Gloves on Sunday.
“I’ve been told there are a few nice offers on the table from a few different nations, which is wonderful news for me.
“I’ve always been skeptical of everything.
“Like I said before, I’ve been informed there are a lot of large offers on the table from a few significant companies, so I’m extremely eager and happy to finally hear what they are and see if they’re one, viable, and two, can make it happen in whichever country wins the bid for it.
“We need to go on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I’m just going to move on if I don’t know anything by Tuesday. It’s been a long time coming.
“At long last, the offers have arrived. We’ll go over them all and choose the finest one.”
Despite Fury’s camp insisting it was “nowhere near” being done, Hearn earlier indicated that a two-fight contract had been reached.
If everything goes according to plan, Joshua will defend his WBA, WBO, and IBF titles against WBC champion Fury.
And Fury is still hoping for an all-British match to be agreed upon at some point.
“I am certain that will take place. “It happens one million times,” he remarked.
“I believe we will know what, where, and when within the next few days.
“From what I’ve heard, there are some huge players involved, and there have been some significant offers come in from very rich people and very rich countries, so I’m fairly optimistic this fight will be made in the next few days.
“I am confident that they will be excellent offers.”
