If Everton rejects Antonio Conte’s proposal, Tottenham has three Jordan Pickford replacements.

If Everton rejects Antonio Conte’s proposal, Tottenham has three Jordan Pickford replacements.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been linked with a summer move to Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is said to be interested in signing Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to replace Hugo Lloris next season. The current Spurs captain is out of contract in the summer and has yet to sign a new contract in north London, implying that bringing in a new goalkeeper might quickly become the club’s top priority.

According to The Telegraph, Pickford is near the top of Tottenham’s list of targets.

Conte is said to prefer signing a homegrown goalkeeper to take over as No. 1 or compete with Lloris if the Frenchman eventually inks a new contract at the club.

Pickford, on the other hand, has two years left on his current Everton contract and is a key element of the team under Rafa Benitez.

The Merseyside club would definitely be eager to recoup the £25 million they paid to Sunderland for his services in 2017.

With that in mind, Express Sport looks at three different goalkeeping possibilities for Spurs to consider as they explore for a new goalkeeper for next season.

Spurs have been linked with a move for Onana, who is set to become a free agent this summer.

The 25-year-old has been out of play for the past nine months due to a doping ban, but he is thought to be one of the names being considered in north London.

He’s a strong distributor with his feet and, as a result of his ability to move the ball well, he’d likely fit into Conte’s style.

However, Onana is thought to be wanted by a number of other Premier League clubs, implying that Spurs would have to fight hard to sign him on a free transfer.

Raya was apparently a summer target for Spurs before Pierluigi Gollini signed a season-long loan agreement with the club from Atalanta.

The Spaniard had a fantastic start to the season with Brentford before suffering a major knee injury that would keep him out until the second half.

Due to his amazing shot-stopping skills and impressive distribution, he could soon resurface as a Spurs option.

“Brinkwire Summary News”, on the other hand, remains to be seen.
