World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed the sex ban he imposes on himself ahead of a blockbuster fight as he prepares for his third bout against Deontay Wilder.
Tyson Fury has revealed the sex ban he imposes upon himself in the lead up to a fight as he prepares to meet Deontay Wilder for the third time this weekend. The Brit has been undergoing an intense training schedule after opting to change his game plan for his latest clash with the Bronze Bomber.
In their first bout, Fury dramatically rose from the brink to pull himself from the canvas and earn a draw with Wilder.
In the rematch bout, the 33-year-old defeated the American thanks to an eighth-round TKO to win the WBC title.
That second meeting in February 2020 was the last time either man officially fought.
After his defeat, Wilder accused Fury of cheating in their rematch. The American posted a video and statement on social media before continuing to fuel the conspiracy in interviews.
The 35-year-old went on to allege his water was spiked with muscle relaxers before the fight, and even suggested such an act was carried out by his own co-trainer Mark Breland, who threw in the towel to condemn Wilder to the first defeat of his career.
Fury is preparing to fight Wilder for a third time – and the British heavyweight revealed the lengths he goes to before a blockbuster fight.
When asked about his pre-fight libido, Fury exclaimed: “What? No shagging before fights? Nah, that’s a myth, don’t believe it!
“But My d*** will be in my pants – it’s in there more or less full-time but it might be coming out after the fight.
“I don’t believe in sex in training camp, I am an old school fighter and I like to keep nice and strong, keep it all in the tank and then take out all the aggression on the night.
“I’m not relieving myself once a week – let alone once or seven times a day.
“I don’t even remember when I had my last w***!”
A deal between Fury and British rival Anthony Joshua was supposedly close to being struck earlier this year.
The duo were set to meet in a highly-anticipated fight to unify the division and crown the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world as. “Brinkwire Summary News”.
