Here’s everything you need to know about Jacksonville’s fight night.

On Saturday night, the UFC returns to Florida for UFC 261, and the world’s largest mixed martial arts organization has stacked the deck with three title fights for the sold-out event in Jacksonville.

Three UFC world title fights will be contested at UFC 261 in front of a 15,000-person crowd at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The night’s main event will pit Kamaru Usman, the undisputed UFC welterweight champion, against Jorge Masvidal, the UFC’s “BMF” champion and past title challenger.

Masvidal came in on six days’ notice to replace the COVID-affected Gilbert Burns in a title fight at UFC 251. But it was Usman who came out on top in the end, winning by unanimous decision after five rounds.

Masvidal now has a second chance and, following a complete training camp, is hoping to turn the tables on Usman, who is on a 17-fight winning streak and has never lost in the UFC octagon.

A pair of women’s title fights will also take place on the night.

In the co-main event, reigning women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili will defend her 115-pound title against former champion Rose Namajunas, while all-conquering women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will take on former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade in the 125-pound class.

In a rematch from their days on the regional scene in New York, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will take on the dangerous Uriah Hall.

The VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida will host UFC 261 on Saturday, April 24.

There are three portions to the fight card:

BT Sport is the UFC’s official broadcast partner, and its channels and digital applications broadcast practically every numbered UFC event as well as all UFC Fight Night events.

The lone exception is specifically selected big-ticket events, which are broadcast via BT Sport Box Office, BT Sport’s pay-per-view channel.

UFC 261 is not a pay-per-view event in the United Kingdom because it will be broadcast as part of BT Sport’s regular channel programming.

The event will be broadcast live on the BT Sport app, which is available on iOS and Android platforms.

Every non-pay-per-view numbered UFC event and UFC Fight Night show is broadcast on BT Sport.

The BT Sport app is now available for download. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
