Hours after their painful Champions League final loss to PSG, Arsenal’s grieving stars were pictured limping out of their hotel in Budapest on Sunday morning.

Eberechi Eze and Gabriel both missed the mark, causing the Gunners to face the agony of losing on penalties.

The Brazilian gazed at the ground as he made his way to the team bus on Sunday morning after Gabriel’s attempt, which he blasted over the bar, clinched PSG’s second straight victory in the competition.

The Englishman made a peace sign to the cameras outside the team hotel, suggesting that Eze’s mood had improved.

Mikel Arteta, the defeated manager, was spotted lugging his suitcase to the bus that would take them to the Hungarian airport while wearing all black.

Leandro Trossard, Mikel Merino, David Raya, and Martin Odegaard were also shown looking depressed.

After the Champions League loss, Gabriel (left) stared at the ground as he departed the team hotel.

As he made his way to the team bus, Eberechi Eze gave the cameras a peace sign.

When Arsenal returns and starts the festivities during their parade later in the afternoon to commemorate their Premier League victory, spirits will undoubtedly be raised.

Both the men’s and women’s teams will participate in the parade, which begins at 2:00 PM.

To commemorate the men’s Premier League victory and the women’s FIFA Women’s Champions Cup victory, a five-mile bus route circles Islington in north London.

However, Luis Enrique’s outstanding champions managed to overcome Arsenal’s strong defense, meaning that there would be no historic double.

Kai Havertz scored a goal six minutes into the final at Puskas Arena, giving the English team a perfect start.

The Gunners gave their opponents very few noteworthy opportunities, but in the second half, the game took a different turn.

Cristian Mosquera was fouled in the area by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ousmane Dembele scored the penalty to tie the score at one.

Bradley Barcola missed two opportunities in extra time to give PSG a 75% possession advantage.

In Saturday night’s main event, PSG defeated Mikel Arteta and company on penalties.

In the shootout, David Raya made one save, but it was not to be for the Gunners.

A thrilling competition was settled by the lottery of spot kicks. David Raya saved Nuno Mendes’ penalty, but Gabriel’s and Eze’s misses were crucial.

The fifth penalty was awarded to Gabriel, the center back who has been the driving force behind Arsenal’s success this season.

After the game, Arteta reflected on that choice, saying, “He wanted to take it.” Martin [Odegaard], Kai [Havertz], and Bukayo [Saka] would typically be the ones to take the penalty.

“But we were aware that different players would need to step forward if the game went to extra time and penalties.”
