HIBS have issued an apology to Rangers, following comments made by Irvine Welsh regarding Alfredo Morelos.
The author, best known for writing Trainspotting, was a studio guest for the club channel’s broadcast of last night’s match with Rangers.

Welsh is alleged to have made a controversial comment following Morelos’ apparent stamp on Ryan Porteous in the first-half of yesterday’s encounter.
No footage is available of the broadcast on Hibs TV, but the Scottish Sun have reported that the Scottish FA will ask for footage of the broadcast.
Rangers’ support liaison officer said on Twitter: “We are disappointed at the comments made in relation to Alfredo and our club.
“Hibs have apologised to the club today.
