Harvey Elliott was captured on tape reacting to Tyler Morton’s fantastic Champions League debut.

As Morton walked off the pitch following Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Porto on Wednesday night, the two teenage stars were seen conversing.

Elliott has been on the sidelines since his ankle was fractured and dislocated against Leeds United in September, and he is still out of action.

This did not stop the former Fulham player from thanking his fellow youngster as he walked off the Anfield ground after the game, with the heartwarming scene being captured on camera by the fans.

Elliott can be seen approaching Morton as he walks off the pitch in the video, evidently thrilled after his teammate’s performance.

Before moving down the tunnel and into the dressing room, Elliot laughs and clicks his fingers as he and Morton joke.

Morton made his debut Champions League outing on Wednesday, and it was only his second Liverpool start for the 19-year-old midfielder.

Morton and Elliott used to play together for Liverpool’s junior squad, but they are now firmly established in Jurgen Klopp’s first team.

Morton’s performance left Liverpool fans speechless, with many rushing to social media to praise the England under-20 international.

“Absolute superstar in the making Tyler lad,” one ecstatic supporter remarked.

“The future is bright, he is a superb player,” said another supporter.

“Wonderful performance by the young boy on his debut, push the limits Morton,” a third Liverpool fan tweeted.

In the meantime, another person praised the boy, saying, “Superb, can’t recall him putting a foot wrong.” Tyler, you did a fantastic job.” Morton played a key role in Liverpool’s second goal of the night, which was scored by Mohamed Salah.

On the edge of his own penalty area, he retrieved the ball from Alisson before firing a diagonal long ball over the top of the Porto defense to Salah.

Salah exchanged passes with Jordan Henderson before shooting a low effort past Diogo Costa, the opposition goalkeeper.

The victory keeps Liverpool’s perfect record in the group stage this season intact, with their final encounter against AC Milan coming up in two weeks.
