Formula One championship scenarios: How Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen might win in 2021.

The race for the 2021 Formula One championship is heating up, with both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in contention.

How can each driver win the Formula One title this year with only three races remaining and the Qatar Grand Prix just days away?

The Formula One season is coming to a close, and only two drivers remain in contention for the title: Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

But, with only three races left, how can each driver win this year?

This weekend, the Qatar Grand Prix will take place on Sunday afternoon (2pm UK time).

The title race could not be any closer with only three races remaining this season.

Hamilton is aiming for a record-breaking eighth World Championship, but he’ll have to fight off current leader Verstappen.

The Red Bull driver currently leads Hamilton by 14 points, with both drivers still in contention for the championship.

Verstappen is in the driver’s seat for his first Formula One title.

The Dutchman will win the World Championship if he wins all three remaining races.

However, Hamilton is the favorite to win the next two races, giving him the upper hand.

Verstappen will win the championship with a win and two second-place finishes.

Two victories, on the other hand, will be enough to cement his position as World Champion.

In his final three races, Hamilton will rely on Verstappen to drop points.

Regardless of where Verstappen finishes, if the Briton wins all three remaining races, he will win his record-breaking eighth championship.

Hamilton will have to hope that Verstappen does not finish second in the other two races if he wins one.

If Verstappen finishes third in each of the remaining races, Hamilton will win the championship with one win and at least two second-place finishes.

The remaining 18 drivers in the standings are well behind Verstappen and Hamilton.

Valtteri Bottas, Hamilton’s teammate, is currently in third place, albeit 115.5 points behind him.

Sergio Perez is currently fourth, but Lando Norris of McLaren is right behind him.

Mercedes is 11 points ahead of Red Bull in the Constructors’ Championship.

Haas, on the other hand, is the only team in the league without a point this season.

Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin have already committed to Haas.
