Adama Traore caught the eye once again after going on an incredible run against Sevilla in Wolves’ Europa League quarter-final defeat by Sevilla.
The winger picked the ball up in his own half before using his strength and electric speed to run more than half the length of the pitch and burst into the opposition’s penalty box before he was brought down by Diego Carlos.
Raul Jimenez’s resulting spot-kick was saved by Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou but fans were dazzled by Traore’s marauding run.
A HUGE missed opportunity for Wolves 😩

One supporter tweeted: ‘Football cheat code: Adama Traore’, with others calling the winger a ‘special gem’.
Another fan commented: ‘I know it’s been said a million times but Adama Traore is a PROBLEM.
‘Sevilla defence will be shaking every time he touches the ball after that run! Shame about the missed penalty.’
Traore has caught the eye in the Premier League this season and it was revealed the winger soaks his arms in baby oil before kick-off to stop defenders from pulling him back after suffering serious shoulder injuries.
Joleon Lescott described the 24-year-old as ‘undefendable’ ahead of the game and the winger showed just what the BT Sport pundit was referring to with his run.
Lescott said: ‘When he’s on it he’s undefendable. There’s probably players as fast and as strong but not together.’
Wolves would go on to rue Jimenez’s penalty miss after Lucas Ocampos headed a late winner for Sevilla, who will face Manchester United in the semi-final.
