After Antonio Conte’s request, Tottenham manager Fabio Paratici is considering a move to Juventus.

Tottenham transfer chief Fabio Paratici is set to make moves for two players: Dejan Kulusevski and Weston McKennie, both of whom he knows from his time at Juventus.

Antonio Conte is eager to bring in new players during the January transfer window.

Tottenham will step up their efforts in January to sign Kulusevski and McKennie from Juventus.

Since becoming the club’s director of football in the summer, Paratici has already had a significant impact.

Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini were both brought in by the Italian, and a slew of other Serie A players have been linked with a move to north London.

The latest pair includes two players who Paratici is very familiar with, having signed them while in charge of Juventus’ transfer window spending.

According to CalcioMercato, Tottenham’s manager is preparing a proposal that will see Kulusevski and McKennie join the club, with Conte desperate for reinforcements.

Kulusevski only joined Juve in 2020, but was allowed to spend the season on loan at Parma, and the Sweden international has been tasked with a lot of responsibility.

However, the 21-year-old’s situation has not worked out, and the Old Lady is looking to cut their wage bill.

McKennie joined in 2020 on a classic Paratici deal: a loan with a buy option or obligation.

This season, the United States international has been an important member of the squad under Massimiliano Allegri, but many of Juve’s players are open to offers.

Conte is also looking for a physical central midfielder, and the 23-year-old fits the bill.

After a 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final, the Italian coach was depressed, admitting that the gap in class was huge.

“I think we struggled, we struggled a lot this evening against Chelsea,” he said.

They proved to be far more powerful than we were.

“You must be disappointed on the one hand, but you must also recognize that there is a significant difference on the other.”

“I’m aware.”

Also, after this game, I confirmed what I thought about the teams’ differences, but we must be patient.

We must have.
