On loan from Queen’s Park Rangers, LIAM KELLY is going to Motherwell.
For the remainder of the 2020/21 season, the 24-year-old has signed an agreement that will tie him to Fir Park.
In June 2019, Kelly switched to the English Championship side and played 22 times for Mark Warburton’s side, but has recently fallen out of favor.
The Scot had previously been signed from Livingston, where, after his move from Rangers, he impressed for two years.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity Motherwell have given me,” the goalkeeper said.
My ambition is to play games. I know that here there is intense competition and I have to earn my spot.
“If I’m needed, I’m ready and available. We’ve got a decent squad and we have to start delivering results.
Kelly is going to wear the jersey number 13 vacated by Jordan Archer.
“Liam will strengthen our options in the goalkeeping department since Jordan Archer has left us,” said interim manager Keith Lasley.
“He has already proven his ability at this level, playing a big part in Livingston’s success and also earning the recognition of an international call-up.”
