Football fans have until 1pm today to claim their refund for Euro 2020 games if they no longer wish to attend.

UEFA opened their refunds portal amid the uncertainty of the event going ahead as planned as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The governing body sparked an outcry last month after fans faced being unable to obtain a refund if a match was moved to a different venue, however, UEFA has now confirmed if a match is played at its original venue, but behind closed doors or with a reduced capacity, ticket-holders will be granted a full refund.

“All refunds in this phase will be processed by the end of February 2021.”
