Burnley are on the brink of completing a permanent deal for Stoke defender Erik Pieters.
The Dutch left-back back is set to leave following six years with Stoke, having joined from PSV Eindhoven back in the summer of 2013.
Pieters, who enjoyed five campaigns in the Premier League with the Potters, spent the second half of last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Amiens.
But now he will move away permanently from the bet365 Stadium as Sean Dyche looks to bolster his defensive department ahead of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
Burnley leaked 68 goals in the Premier League last term, with only four teams recording a worse defensive record.
Pieters will provide competition at left-back for Charlie Taylor next season as Burnley look to improve on their 15th-place finish from last season.
