During the implosion of the St. Jude Invitational, Bryson DeChambeau was ‘affected’ by ‘Broosky’ hecklers.

In the last round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Bryson DeChambeau was heckled once more.

Bryson DeChmabeau was once again embroiled in controversy after being heckled during his final round at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.

DeChambeau’s dreadful final round, a four-over-par 74, was made even worse by a barrage of heckles from onlookers, who tormented him with screams of “Brooksy!” for the final nine holes.

Since August 2019, DeChambeau has been feuding with fellow American golfer Brooks Koepka, after Koepka blasted DeChambeau at the Northern Trust for his poor play.

After an unseen, leaked interview showed Koepka rolling his eyes and mumbling under his breath as DeChambeau walked past him, the two have had a number of confrontations, both on social media and in person, including at this year’s PGA Championship in May.

Throughout their squabbles, a number of Koepka fans have chanted “Brooksy” at the world number six, none more so than at this week’s event in Memphis.

Security was called on the 12th hole of DeChambeau’s final round to tell a group of spectators to cease jeering the 27-year-old with Koepka insults.

However, the mocking continued, as TV cameras captured a spectator chanting ‘let’s go Brooksy!’ towards the eight-time PGA Tour winner on the 16th tee at TPC Southwind, to which he replied ‘good one’.

The 2020 US Open champion was two strokes behind leader Harris English heading into the final round of the World Golf Championship, and the two were paired together as the final pairing for the final round.

Despite this, DeChambeau and English had a rough day, falling off the top of the scoreboard despite starting the day in first place.

Following their day four struggles, English believed DeChambeau’s play on day four was influenced by the taunting he received in his last round.

“It’s not really fair for them to call him ‘Brooksy’ all the time,” he remarked.

“It kind of sucks, and obviously he hears it, and it impacts him a little bit, and he doesn’t enjoy it, and I believe that makes them do it more.” It’s absolutely awful.”Brinkwire Summary News.”
