During the examination of Man Utd treatment, Donny van de Beek’s agent makes a U-turn.

Donny van de Beek’s time at Manchester United has been a struggle, but his agent, Guido Albers, has advised his client to stay patient.

Guido Albers, Donny van de Beek’s agent, has backed Manchester United and advised his client to keep displaying patience in order to achieve more playing time at Old Trafford. The midfielder’s representative stated earlier this week that he was “disappointed” with how the Red Devils barred him from leaving in the summer transfer window after only a few starts last season.

Adidas and Manchester United have unveiled their official 2021/22 home jersey, which features a modern take on the club’s traditional designs.

Van de Beek joined the club for £34 million from Ajax a year ago, although he spent the majority of his first season on the bench.

The majority of his game was played in the Europa League and other cup competitions, but the club has refused to sell the 24-year-old and is optimistic that he can improve.

In an interview with Voetbal International a few days ago, Van de Beek’s representative slammed United for their lack of cooperation in a potential summer transfer, claiming that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had previously promised Van de Beek playing time.

“Italy, Germany, and England showed a lot of interest, so that seemed promising. But you need the club’s cooperation, and it appeared like they would, but they didn’t,” Albers told Voetbal International.

NEWS FLASH: Manchester United squandered a game-changing deal worth £40 million.

“I’m disappointed, but also hopeful for him, because he’ll get his chance and his minutes, but all will be revealed in due time.

“He’s been promised that previously, but we got to an understanding with the club about it, so we’re confident it’ll happen now.”

Albers appears to have changed his tune in a separate interview with talkSPORT, saying that he wants his client to work hard to gain opportunities at United, which are not guaranteed.

“He [Van de Beek] has a lot of patience. He’s a kind man. The issue is that the environment is no longer patient. People who write about him have no idea what happened; they all make up their own story. “That will be in 2021,” Albers stated.
