Despite Barcelona’s interest, Chelsea are unlikely to loan Ziyech out in the January transfer window because Tuchel sees a role for the winger.

According to reports, HAKIM ZIYECH will not be loaned out when the January transfer window opens.

Since joining Chelsea for £33 million from Ajax last year, the 28-year-old winger has struggled to find his best form.

Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund were said to be interested in giving him the chance to restart his career on the continent.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues and Ziyech’s representatives have not discussed a possible move away from Stamford Bridge.

This is especially true given Chelsea’s participation in five different competitions, including the Club World Cup, which will take place in Abu Dhabi in early February.

Chelsea may be open to permanent offers for the Moroccan international, according to the report.

But, despite the injuries to Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, and Christian Pulisic, Thomas Tuchel insists Ziyech has a role to play.

Ziyech’s only competitive goal of the season, and his seventh overall, came in a 1-0 Champions League victory over Malmo on November 2.

I know what I’m capable of and where I stand at the top of my game.

“It was difficult for me to regain my rhythm due to injuries.

I’ve never been able to re-establish my rhythm.

Every day, I have to work hard to re-establish that rhythm.

“I’m attempting to contribute to the team by scoring goals and assisting.”

“I work extremely hard, even when things aren’t going as planned, but I’ve always believed in myself.”

That is why I continue to have faith in myself and my abilities on the field.”

Tuchel is waiting for the winger to show progress before giving him more playing time.

“I believe there is room for improvement in his decision-making, connections on the field, and consistency,” the German added.

“His work rate, counter-pressing, and awareness are always relied upon.

It plays a significant role in his performances.

“He still has the potential to become more clinical and…
