Crystal Palace and West Brom will head to a tribunal to settle dispute over Nathan Ferguson fee

Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion are heading for a tribunal after failing to agree a fee for Nathan Ferguson.

The 19-year-old, as expected, signed a three year deal with Palace on Tuesday after allowing his contract to run down at Albion.

The clubs had agreed an £11million transfer in January with add ons only for Ferguson to fail a medical due to a knee injury.

He did not play again for Albion but they are due compensation as he is under 23. However, the clubs have so far failed to find a compromise.

Palace are also in the market for QPR winger Eberechi Eze. The 22-year old has been watched by West Ham too but they will have a limited budget unless they sell.

Eze’s current deal with the R’s runs out in 2021 but a transfer to another London based club could see him leave in the upcoming window.

The England international has impressed at the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium this season with 13 goals and eight assists in the second division.
