Crystal Palace are reportedly considering an offer for Aston Villa target Fabio Borini.
The former Liverpool and Sunderland striker does not currently feature in the plans of AC Milan’s new manager Marco Giampaolo, who was recruited to replace Gennaro Gattuso at the end of last season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com, Palace are preparing to make a bid for the 28-year-old, with Milan demanding €15m (£13.5m).
Aston Villa are also interested in the striker, however it is Palace, who are poised to lose Wilfried Zaha this summer, that are the favourites for his signature.
Borini had an underwhelming season last time out as Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League.
He score three goals from 29 appearances in all competitions as he failed to build on five from 44 matches during the 2017-18 season.
Borini made 93 appearances for Sunderland during a three-year stay at the Stadium of Light, after making 38 for Liverpool between 2012 and 2015.
