Chelsea is on the verge of losing its third star to AC Milan, with the Italian club ‘pushing hard’ for a loan deal.

This summer, Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud both went from Chelsea to AC Milan.

AC Milan are hoping to sign Hakim Ziyech, their third Chelsea player this summer after signing Fiyako Tomori and Olivier Giroud. The Moroccan joined from Ajax for £38 million last summer, but has yet to make the impact that some had hoped for.

He only had two goals and three assists in 23 appearances, although he did score the game-winning goal in the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City at Wembley.

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan is interested in signing Ziyech on a season-long loan with the option to buy.

Isco and Philippe Coutinho are also thought to be of interest to the Italians, but Ziyech could be a more financially viable choice.

After Tomori’s loan and subsequent permanent transfer last season, as well as their successful negotiations with Chelsea in Giroud’s trade this summer, Milan feel convinced they can complete a deal.

Since Thomas Tuchel took over in January, the 28-year-old has only made eight league starts under the former Borussia Dortmund manager.

Tuchel’s sole league goal came against City in a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

In the past, Ziyech has praised his boss, claiming that the German has been a breath of new air in west London.

“I’ve never had a coach like this before,” Ziyech stated. “Most of the time, the coaches were quieter!

“However, this is his management style, and we have no objections to it. It benefits the players by keeping them sharp. That is the most crucial point.

“Most of the time, he’s right there with us when we’re playing. Emotionally, it’s fantastic at moments, but it’s also good at times when you’re like, ‘ah, calm down,’ but it’s good for everyone.

“He’s brought new ideas and goals with him. He is usually coming over to the training group, which is fantastic.

“Everyone understands and is aware of his or her responsibilities, and it works.

“He enjoys making us laugh, but he also expects us to work hard. Then we can have a good time, but when it comes to work, we must be serious. He can be funny at times, yet he can also be serious.”

Chelsea’s search for a new attacker could lead to Ziyech’s departure. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
