Chelsea has four players in their squad. Sevilla may agree to a trade for Jules Kounde.
Jules Kounde of Sevilla has been a target for Chelsea all summer.
Chelsea have been chasing Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde all summer, but no deal has materialized, and time is running out for the Blues if they want to sign him. The Spanish club is reportedly waiting for Kounde’s release clause to be met before signing him.
Under Thomas Tuchel, the Blues were rock solid at the back in the second half of last season, conceding only one goal in their first three games of the current season.
However, the German manager continues to seek defensive reinforcements, and Kounde is the man Chelsea has been eyeing.
According to Diario AS, Sevilla have refused to compromise on Kounde’s release clause, which has climbed from £68 million to £77 million for the last days of the transfer window.
Chelsea may have attempted to reduce the asking price by providing Kurt Zouma in part exchange earlier in the transfer window.
However, now that Zouma has joined West Ham, the Hammers may attempt to offer Sevilla alternative players in the goal of lowering Kounde’s price.
Chelsea might offer four players to Sevilla to turn their heads, according to Express Sport.

Callum Hudson-Odoi hasn’t played in any of his team’s first three games and is rumored to be interested in a move elsewhere.
Dortmund is reportedly interested in taking the winger on a season-long loan, but Tuchel is refusing to allow it.
Tuchel has stated that he wants to maintain as many players as possible at the club in order to offer his team the best chance of contending on all fronts this season.
However, if Hudson-exit Odoi’s allows Tuchel to sign Kounde, he may be willing to let the outstanding 20-year-old leave.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has spent recent seasons on loan at Fulham and Crystal Palace, and at 25 years old, it’s reasonable to believe that if he was going to break into the Chelsea team, he would have done it by now.
Loftus-Cheek is understood to be weighing his options as he pursues first-team action, with a number of English and Italian clubs reportedly interested.
Tuchel may not want to lose Loftus-Cheek since he gives the team with a solid midfield backup option. But he’s not the only one. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
