Chelsea are concerned about Ben Chilwell’s injury, as the star’s season may be gone.
Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell suffered an injury against Juventus on Tuesday night.
Chelsea are concerned that Ben Chilwell, who suffered a knee injury in Tuesday’s triumph against Juventus, may miss the remainder of the season, according to sources. During the last minutes of the game, the England defender was unable to continue and had to be assisted down the tunnel by Chelsea’s medical personnel.
With just 19 minutes remaining at Stamford Bridge, Chilwell seemed to hurt his leg and was quickly replaced by Cesar Azpilicueta.
Chelsea went on to defeat Juventus 4-0, with goals coming from Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Timo Werner.
The Blues, on the other hand, are thought to be concerned about Chilwell, who has made ten appearances in all competitions this season.
According to The Sun, they believe the England defender has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and will miss the remainder of the season.
