Celtic midfielders Barry Coffey and Scott Robertson have today left the club on loan.
Young Irishman Coffey, 19, will join up with his new Cliftonville teammates until the end of the season in the NIFL Premiership.
Coffey will be looking to play games for his new club after struggling to break into the Hoops first-team after being involved in pre-season matches.
The club confirmed the news on social media this morning. They said: “Barry Coffey has joined Cliftonville on loan until the end of the season. Best of luck, Barry.”
Coffey is a Republic of Ireland international at under-19s level.
Meanwhile Robertson has been sent to Doncaster on loan until the end of the season. It comes after Celts recalled the player from his spell at Gillingham early due to a Covid-19 crisis when they were short of bodies.
He heads to League One to battle at the top end with Rovers fourth in the table currently.
Robertson made his first-team debut for Celtic against Cluj in the Europa League last season. He played 19 times for Gills this term before his return.
