Brighton are interested in Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The Seagulls have already snapped up Adam Lallana on a free transfer and completed a £900,000 move for Dutch defender Joel Veltman.
But they are also keen on Maitland-Niles as the former England under-21 midfielder ponders his future.
Maitland-Niles, 22, has three years left on his current deal at the Gunners but he wants regular first-team football.
In an ideal world he would become a regular under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, but his chances have been restricted which has alerted a number of clubs across the Premier League.
Arteta is an admirer of Maitland-Niles, which was emphasised when he played the academy graduate in the FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City.
But there is concrete interest in the midfielder which could lead to Maitland-Niles having a big decision to make.
