Because of two players, Tottenham’s agreement for Lautaro Martinez was deemed “complex.”
Tottenham are hoping to recruit Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez before the transfer window closes.
Two players are said to be complicating Tottenham’s pursuit of Lautaro Martinez. Regardless of what happens with Harry Kane, Daniel Levy’s side is looking to sign the Inter Milan striker. However, relocating to north London is far from simple.
According to ESPN, Tottenham believes they have reached an agreement with Inter Milan on a fee in principle for the future purchase of Martinez.
Inter, on the other hand, has stated emphatically that this is not the case.
Tottenham would have a difficult time luring the 23-year-old away because of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, according to reports.
Lukaku is set to join Chelsea in the coming days, with the Belgian set to have a physical in the next 24 hours ahead of a spectacular return to Stamford Bridge.
And Hakimi has already left the San Siro for Paris Saint-Germain, a £60 million move to France.

If Martinez becomes the club’s third player to go, Inter are believed to be concerned about ‘exacerbating tensions’ among their own fans.
And it’s uncertain whether Lukaku and Hakimi’s departures will improve Inter’s financial predicament, with the Serie A giants needing to balance the books in the aftermath of the coronavirus crisis.
Spurs are thought to be quietly claiming that their pursuit of Martinez is motivated by a desire to assist Harry Kane.
Kane wants to leave Tottenham for Manchester City, where Pep Guardiola is looking for a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
Tottenham, on the other hand, would prefer to keep their talisman and believe that Martinez’s presence will benefit them.
