Barcelona will meet with Antoine Griezmann amid interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
Antoine Griezmann of Barcelona has surfaced as a transfer target for Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
According to rumours, Barcelona will meet with Antoine Griezmann later this month. The France international might be transferred as the La Liga giants scramble to raise finances for Lionel Messi’s new deal. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all fans of the player.
When Barcelona signed Griezmann from Atletico Madrid two years ago, they thought they had struck gold.
They spent £107 million to lure the France international to the Nou Camp after coming close to signing him in 2018.
Griezmann has showed flashes of his best form, but he hasn’t been able to maintain the consistency that the club would like.
Last season, he scored 20 goals and added 13 assists, demonstrating that he has the ability to improve. However, with Messi’s new deal taking precedence, speculation about a move away is gaining traction.
When he returns to training on July 20, the 30-year-old will hold talks with the club, according to Sport.

As things stand, Griezmann hasn’t been informed of Barcelona’s plans.
When he returns to Catalonia, however, the issue will become much clearer, since the player is presently enjoying some well-deserved time off.
Griezmann was a member of France’s Euro 2020 squad, which was knocked out of the tournament in the round of 16 by Switzerland under Didier Deschamps.
And, while Barcelona would ordinarily keep him, their current financial situation has them leaning towards selling him.
PSG and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing him, but a move to the Premier League, after years of conjecture, may now be on the cards.
