As a fresh £30 million asking price emerges, Jurgen Klopp is a “huge fan” of Liverpool’s recruitment target.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of a Premier League player.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be a ‘huge fan’ of Wolves midfielder Adama Traore, who is expected to cost the Reds approximately £30 million. Klopp could use a new forward this summer after his team struggled in the Premier League last season.
Traore has been a standout performer for Wolves in recent years, and he would bring extra guile and talent to the final third.
Mohamed Salah was responsible for the majority of Liverpool’s goal scoring, with 22 league goals.
Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino combined for 19 goals, barely a year after the latter scored 18 on his own.
Traore isn’t a consistent scorer, but he’d provide a new dimension to Liverpool’s assault.
Liverpool are said to be interested in signing the Spain international, albeit no formal offer has been made.
The rumours, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, are a result of Klopp’s fondness for Traore, who would supposedly cost £30 million.
“About him, there are a lot of links. On Don Robbie’s YouTube channel, Romano said, “We’re talking about a terrific player.”
“The Liverpool connections are due to Jurgen Klopp’s admiration for the player. Traore, he believes, would be ideal for Liverpool.
“I’ve been told that Liverpool and Wolves are not in talks. This is due to the fact that Liverpool must first sell players.
“They’re working on it, and if the opportunity arises in August, they’d like to add a new attacking player and a new midfielder.
“Klopp loves the player, but no talks have taken place between the two clubs.” As of today, there is nothing in the pipeline for Liverpool.”
This summer, Liverpool has been unusually quiet in the transfer market.
Last season, their Premier League championship defense was derailed by a terrible injury crisis and a following lack of form.
Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Jordan Henderson, who have all returned from injury, may persuade Klopp that he does not want any further signings.
The Anfield management activated Ibrahima Konate’s RB Leipzig contract’s £36 million transfer release clause, but the Frenchman remains Liverpool’s only summer signing.
During pre-season, Klopp has instead focused on the club’s youthful players.
