Arsenal’s interest in Houssem Aouar has waned, while Tottenham prepares a bid for Manchester United and Liverpool targets.
Arsenal is said to have withdrawn from a bid for Houssem Aouar, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
Arsenal’s pursuit of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar has come to an end, according to reports. The Gunners were interested in Aouar throughout the summer transfer window, but they were unwilling to accept Lyon’s demands. Mikel Arteta is looking to bolster his midfield options, and the Frenchman has been linked with Arsenal once again.

Although talks between the two teams have persisted, according to Le10Sport, Arsenal has dropped out of any deal for Aouar.
The north London club is unwilling to raise their first offer.
Tottenham is also interested in Aouar and is set to make a formal offer to Lyon in the near future.

Manchester United and Liverpool are both rumored to be interested in signing Aouar.
United are considering Aouar as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba, who is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Liverpool are looking for a new midfielder after Georginio Wijnaldum left the club at the conclusion of his contract.
According to Le10Sport, neither Manchester United nor Liverpool have made an offer for Aouar.
Aouar is one of a number of players who have been linked with a move to Arsenal.
Last week, the Gunners made their first signing of the window, bringing in Benfica’s Nuno Tavares as a left-back.
Albert Sambi Lokonga, a midfielder for Anderlecht, is expected to join Arsenal soon.
