Arsenal transfer target Erling Haaland is one of Man Utd’s four Erling Haaland alternatives following his rejection.

MANCHESTER UNITED is a football club based in Manchester, England.

Following Erling Haaland’s recent transfer decision, Manchester United will have to look elsewhere for a striker.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has his heart set on a move to Spain, with Real Madrid and Barcelona the front-runners to sign him.

United may use four different strikers this summer after missing out on Haaland during the transfer window.

After another outstanding season in front of goal for Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian international is in high demand.

In only 16 appearances, the 21-year-old has scored 19 goals, bringing his total for the German club to 76 goals in 75 games.

The striker has 23 goals in 19 Champions League appearances for Dortmund and RB Salzburg, which has piqued the interest of some of the world’s biggest clubs.

According to the Daily Star, Haaland is only interested in playing in La Liga, with Barcelona and Real Madrid being two of the clubs he could join.

So, who could United replace him with?

When you miss out on the 21-year-old hotshot everyone is raving about, you go after the next 21-year-old hotshot.

Vlahovic has been in incredible form for Fiorentina this season, scoring 18 goals in all competitions, just one goal less than Haaland.

The striker has informed his club that he will not renew his contract, which expires in 18 months, and a sale is expected this summer.

Arsenal is desperate to sign the youngster, but United could offer a higher wage package while also dealing Arsenal a significant blow.

Inter Milan would be hard pressed to lose both Romelu Lukaku and Alejandro Martinez in the same year, but United could still make a move for the Argentine.

Barcelona had been desperate for his services but lacked the financial means to secure him, while Haaland has now entered their thoughts, leaving the door open.

Martinez has stepped up his goalscoring duties in Serie A in Lukaku’s absence, with 11 already this season compared to 17 in the entire domestic season last year as Inter won the league.

And at 24, the forward still has a lot of years ahead of him, with the best still to come.

There might be an opportunity for United to look closer to home.
