Arsenal are bracing themselves for bids for three of their key players over the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Gunners were limited to loan moves in the January transfer window as Mikel Arteta looked to improve his squad, bringing in Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares on deals until the end of the season.
Arsenal are currently sitting in tenth position in the Premier League table and are closer to the relegation zone – in points terms – than fifth-placed Sheffield United.
And without much cash to spend, the Daily Mirror claims that Arsenal ‘will have to be creative’ in the summer transfer window.
The report says that the club might have to cash in on some of their biggest assets with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Bernd Leno all named as possible departures.
Aubameyang will enter the final year of his contract in the summer and has been linked with Barcelona, while Lacazette ‘wants Champions League football’.
The report adds that Aubameyang is ‘likely to go’ and Leno is ‘attracting big interest’ from clubs.
The Daily Mirror continues: ‘maybe they can raise funds to reshuffle the squad rather than have to sell keeper Bernd Leno’.
