If Arsenal wins either the Premier League or the Champions League, there will be a trophy procession in Islington on Sunday, May 31.
Less than a day has been set aside for the celebration following the conclusion of the European match against either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain.
Fans may have to wait an additional week for the open-top bus procession if the north London team defeats Crystal Palace on May 24 to win the league title.
The event would begin either in the morning or at midday, and the bus would travel to Islington Town Hall.
Two seasons ago, if Arsenal had defeated Manchester City to win the Premier League, they planned a parade that would begin at the Emirates Stadium and take a bus via Drayton Park, Aubert Park, Highbury Grove, St Paul’s Road, Upper Street, and back to the stadium.
Declan Rice, Mikel Arteta, and Noni Madueke rejoice because Arsenal made it to the championship game.
This year’s possible parade route has not yet been determined, and it would be a quick turnaround following the Champions League main event.
On May 31, Mikel Arteta’s team won’t return to England from Budapest until the wee hours of the morning. Fans will also have to deal with the challenge of rushing home in time for a possible parade.
The short turnaround time for players to join their nations for the World Cup is the reason for the strict schedule.
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, and Ben White are among the potential members of Thomas Tuchel’s England team, which is scheduled to convene on Monday, June 1 before departing for the United States.
