Arsenal are interested in signing him. James Maddison wrote a message to Stan Kroenke, warning him about the transfer decision.

James Maddison, an Arsenal target, has been advised against joining the club in its current situation.

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan claims that transferring to Arsenal will not help James Maddison advance his career as long as Stan Kroenke remains the club’s owner. For the remainder of the transfer window, Maddison is a major target for Arsenal. Leicester, on the other hand, are anxious to keep the England international and have set a minimum price of £60 million for him.

Arsenal and Adidas have unveiled their official 2021/22 home jersey, which is based on the club’s motto of “Arsenal for everyone.”

The Foxes have rejected Arsenal’s player-plus-cash offers for Maddison.

Roy Keane stated Maddison would be taking a step backwards by joining Arsenal before of Leicester’s Community Shield win over Manchester City on Saturday.

Jordan disagrees with that portion of Keane’s reasoning, but believes the 24-year-old would be better served by Brendan Rodgers than Mikel Arteta in developing his game.

“I don’t think going to Arsenal is a step backwards, but I also don’t think it’s a step forward,” Jordan told talkSPORT.

“Arsenal are a figment of our mind at the moment; they are a club in the rear-view mirror.

“We don’t know if [Mikel] Arteta will be anything more than a theory because he currently falls into that category.

“When I look at Leicester, I think to myself, if I were Maddison, I’d sign for Arsenal for all the reasons [such]recognition, size, and scope of this historically famous football club.

“However, I would stay at Leicester if I wanted to play for a manager who has proven to be a top manager, despite finishing second in the Premier League when he probably should have won it, dominating Scottish football, and performing well with Leicester.”

Jordan also believes that the presence of Kroenke at Arsenal should influence Maddison’s decision to join the Gunners.

Kroenke has received a lot of flak from Arsenal fans during his stint at the club, and he also received flak once the club joined the European Super League earlier this year.

Maddison, according to Jordan, is better off remaining. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
