Another giant mural of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson lifting the Premier League trophy revealed

A second giant mural of Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has appeared on the side of a house in Liverpool.

The painting shows the Reds skipper lifting the Premier League trophy alongside the last Reds captain to win the top flight 30 years ago, Alan Hansen.

This mural, painted on the side of a house in Merseyside is the latest artwork celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League win.

Paul Curtis – best known for his painting of the Liver Bird wings in Liverpool, is the artist behind the work, which he started painting on Old Barn Road this week just a half a mile from the club’s stadium, Anfield.

Another mural of Henderson presented last month also shows him lifting the Premier League trophy with the message ‘Anything is possible, never stop believing’ written next to the artwork as a tribute to Liverpool’s title success.

The mural is located across the road from the three-storey tall image of Liverpool right back Alexander-Arnold that can be found on the corner of Sybil Street and Anfield Road.

There is also a large mural of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp who has guided his side to Champions League, Premier League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup triumphs in the last 12 months.

The first Henderson mural was uncovered on the same day the 30-year-old was named as the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year.

He won the FWA award after receiving over a quarter of the votes in the annual survey of journalists and reporters as his led his side to their first top-flight title in 30 years.

The Liverpool captain headed down to visit the first larger-than-life image of himself in person.

He even brought the Premier League trophy and the FIFA Club World Cup Trophy with him.

The Liverpool star made his mark on the mural, adding his signature adjacent to where his Premier League medal had been drawn.
