After victory over Celta Vigo, Real Madrid topped the LaLiga table

With a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo, Real Madrid climbed to the top of the LaLiga table, thanks to goals from Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio. As early as the sixth minute, Vazquez gave Real the lead, which Asensio doubled in the second half.

The result places Real one point ahead of Atletico Madrid at the top of the table, but the city rival still has three games in hand and could return to the top on Sunday against Alaves.FT #RealMadridCelta 2-0Three points to start the year for @realmadriden! #LiveResults LaLiga English (@LaLigaEN) January 2, 2021 When Iago Aspas beat the offside trap and handled a long ball forward at the box’s edge, Celta had started brightly.
