Arsenal are looking to add a goalkeeper to their squad during the summer transfer window.
Following Tottenham’s loan deal for Atalanta’s Pierluigi Gollini, Arsenal will allegedly have a free hand in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Neto. Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with a Neto transfer. Tottenham, on the other hand, are unlikely to add another goalkeeper to their squad.
Arsenal and Adidas have unveiled their official 2021/22 home jersey, which is based on the club’s motto of “Arsenal for everyone.”
On Saturday, Tottenham announced the signing of Gollini on a season-long loan.
Spurs will have the option to sign the 26-year-old on a long-term contract at the end of the season.
Arsenal, their north London rivals, are on the lookout for a goalkeeper to compete with Bernd Leno.
Aaron Ramsdale of Sheffield United appears to be the club’s foremost target.
The Blades, on the other hand, are looking for at least £30 million for the 23-year-old.
Neto would be a less expensive choice for Arsenal, according to Mundo Deportivo, and the Brazilian wants to leave Barca in this window.
He has been denied match action at the Nou Camp, where he has been forced to play second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham’s bid for Gollini has left Arsenal as the only team with a serious interest in Neto.

In January, Arsenal expressed interest in Neto, and the 32-year-old is being pursued once more.
Neto’s contract with Barca is up in two years.
Meanwhile, Arsenal has come under fire for its interest in Ramsdale from some places.
In the last two seasons, Ramsdale has been demoted from the Premier League.
Jamie O’Hara, a former Tottenham midfielder, is baffled as to why Arsenal would pay up to £30 million for the former Bournemouth star.
“They got go of [Emi] Martinez, who is a superb goalkeeper, for what?” O’Hara stated on talkSPORT. How much is £20 million? He was one of the finest keepers in the league last season.
