After receiving an AFCON booking, Liverpool star Naby Keita is enraged with teammate Sadio Mane.
Guinea and Senegal played out a goalless draw at the Africa Cup of Nations, and Keita vented his frustrations on Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane.
Naby Keita was furious with Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane after the winger was booked for a challenge on him during an Africa Cup of Nations group game.
In Group B, Keita and Mane were held to a goalless draw, with neither player able to lead his team to victory.
At the Stade Omnisports de Bafoussam in Cameroon, frustrations were evidently running high.
With both teams struggling to score goals, Guinea’s Keita decided to vent his frustrations on an opponent midway through the second half.
Mane, a Reds teammate, was the unfortunate recipient.
Senegal has a tenth role.
Mane was on one of his trademark dangerous runs, but there were too many defenders ahead of him to allow him to get through on goal.
When it came to Senegal’s most dangerous player, however, Keita was clearly not taking any chances, and he raced back before clumsily knocking Mane over from behind.
The challenge earned Keita a harsh yellow card, and the £52 million man was visibly enraged at being sent off.
