After a fantastic comeback to Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo displays the September Player of the Month award and expresses gratitude to the supporters.

CRISTIANO RONALDO’S comeback to Manchester United has been rewarded with the club’s Player of the Month award for September.

The 36-year-old was overjoyed as he accepted the newest award, which follows the Premier League award he received last week.

After scoring five goals on his comeback to the club, Red Devils fans picked CR7 as their greatest player for the month.

On United’s official website, the forward posted a short video message thanking fans.

“Thank you to all the fans who voted for me as player of the month, thank you guys!” he stated.

In addition, Ronaldo was voted Premier League Player of the Month for the first time in thirteen years.

He won the title for the fifth time in his United career, this time defeating Liverpool’s Mo Salah.

Ronny’s three goals in three league games last month earned him the current Premier League accolade.

Before the last international break, United had only won once in their previous four games.

Last time out, they drew with Everton, with Ronaldo storming down the tunnel in frustration after the final whistle.

However, his excellent goal-scoring history for his country has maintained, as he scored a world-record ninth international hat-trick for Portugal on Tuesday.
