CRISTIANO RONALDO’S comeback to Manchester United has been rewarded with the club’s Player of the Month award for September.
The 36-year-old was overjoyed as he accepted the newest award, which follows the Premier League award he received last week.
After scoring five goals on his comeback to the club, Red Devils fans picked CR7 as their greatest player for the month.
On United’s official website, the forward posted a short video message thanking fans.
“Thank you to all the fans who voted for me as player of the month, thank you guys!” he stated.
In addition, Ronaldo was voted Premier League Player of the Month for the first time in thirteen years.
He won the title for the fifth time in his United career, this time defeating Liverpool’s Mo Salah.
Ronny’s three goals in three league games last month earned him the current Premier League accolade.
