The Toy News of the Week Comes True

It’s time for the toy news of the week, which includes everything from Treks to Wars to wild water gun munitions.

Welcome back to Toy Aisle, io9’s daily roundup of the most recent toy news from around the web.

This week, The Book of Boba Fett meets Nerf, McFarlane delves into the rogues’ gallery of Batman, and EXO-6’s latest Star Trek figure visits the Q Continuum.

Have a look!

Nerf appears to be planning to foam dart-arize one of the weapons featured in each Disney(plus) Star Wars series, which we’re fine with.

It comes with 13 Nerf Elite darts, three four-shot drums, and “series-accurate blaster” sound effects.

The 30-inch blaster won’t hit store shelves until early 2023, but it’ll be available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse until March 31.

The figure, which stands eight inches tall and has 22 points of articulation, is available for pre-order now for (dollar)40 on Amazon, with delivery expected in mid-April.

What have we gotten ourselves into, mon capitaines? EXO-6’s latest Star Trek action figure returns to TNG, but not as a Starfleet hero… rather as a threat.

The 16-scale figure of John de Lancie’s iconic annoyance Q, dressed in his haughty “Judge” uniform from the show’s pilot, comes with an alternate smirking head—because, duh,…
