Strange ‘otherworldly creature’ observed by five ‘reliable’ witnesses is known as the Dover Demon.
EXCLUSIVE: Five witnesses saw a large-eyed humanoid figure with “long thin fingers” in a quiet Massachusetts town, but the thing was never positively recognized. Was it an extraterrestrial? Is he a demon? Or is it some unknown creature? For more than four decades, a weird humanoid creature sighted on the streets of a peaceful US town has remained a mystery.
Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman coined the term “Dover Demon” after a strange “sighting” of a slender, large-eyed monster in Dover, Massachusetts in April 1977.
However, it’s possible that the mystery of whether it was a ghostly apparition, an alien invader, or a simple instance of mistaken identity will never be answered.
Loren said it’s impossible to say whether the “entity” was an alien in response to Brinkwire’s question. “I am skeptically open-minded, and in my universe, there is no room for explaining one unknown with another unknown,” he remarked. “The outcome of my investigations was that something extraordinary did occur, the four individuals involved did experience what they said they experienced,” he continued, “but my conclusion and that of the team of investigators I led all concur that we don’t know what it was.” Independent witnesses saw a weird orange-colored creature with a bulbous head, big black eyes, and long, thin fingers and toes wandering the streets over the course of two nights in April 1977.
The first witness was William Bartlett, who was 17 at the time. He and two buddies witnessed the creature “standing on a wall, its eyes gleaming… He went on to say, “It wasn’t a dog or a cat.” “It didn’t have a tail.” Its head was shaped like an egg.” After walking his girlfriend home near a forested area a few hours later in a different section of town, 15-year-old John Baxter saw something extremely similar. His drawing of the enigmatic monster has become regarded as the classic depiction of the Dover Demon in cryptozoology.

A 15-year-old reported they noticed the thing lurking near a tree just before midnight the next night, April 22. When the locations of the sightings are plotted on a map, they form an almost perfectly straight line.
Given that all of the witnesses are teens, you could be forgiven for thinking the sightings were a hoax. The news is summarized by Brinkwire.
