NASA has released new Hubble Space Telescope photos of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The photos have been shared on NASA’s website as well as the Hubble’s Twitter account.
“NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has completed this year’s grand tour of the outer solar system,” the space agency said on its official website, “returning crisp images that complement current and past observations from interplanetary spacecraft.”
According to NASA, the Outer Planets Atmospheres Legacy program, or OPAL, takes a photo of the outer planets every year. OPAL provides global views of the four planets in order to look for changes in their atmosphere, such as storms and winds.
According to a gravitational microlensing study, most common outer planets are likely to have the same mass as Neptune.

Jupiter is a planet in the solar system
According to NASA, this year’s photo of Jupiter shows the planet’s “tumultuous” atmosphere. Researchers have noticed changes in Jupiter’s equator in particular.
“While the equator has been changing from its traditional white or beige appearance for a few years now, scientists were surprised to see the deeper orange color persist in Hubble’s recent imaging, expecting the zone to lose its reddish haze layer instead,” NASA said.
New storms have appeared above the equator, and the winds in Jupiter’s Great Red Spot are speeding up, according to researchers.
Saturn is a planet in the solar system
The extreme color changes that are occurring in Saturn’s northern hemisphere have been noted by scientists.
According to NASA, that part of the planet is in the midst of its early autumn season.
The opposite is true for its southern hemisphere.
