Following violent scenes with his supporters on Capitol Hill, Twitter removed Donald Trump from his own account for 12 hours.
The social media giant has announced that the Trump account has been “suspended for 12 hours” and warned that a “permanent suspension.” would result in potential violations.

The social media giant tweeted, “We have required the removal of three @realDonaldTrump tweets posted earlier today for repeated and serious violations of our Civic Integrity Policy as a result of the unprecedented and ongoing violent situation in Washington, D.C..”
