There have been 2,529 new cases of Covid-19 in Scotland in the last 24 hours, with 11 deaths.
The latest variant is responsible for about 50 percent of the incidents, according to the First Minister.
1,347 individuals are in hospital, and 93 individuals in intensive care.
With 93 patients in intensive care, 28 more than a week ago, the number of people in hospital has grown by more than 255 a week.
Of the experiments done in Scotland, 14.8% of the tests had positive outcomes.
The total number of positive cases has risen to 139,027 in Scotland.
