What is John Walsh’s age and who is he?
THE HOST OF IN PURSUIT WITH JOHN WALKER, an investigative television series, is a criminal detective.
Walsh attacked the police probe into the Gabby Petito case, saying he’s “settling up to capture” Brian Laundrie.
John Walsh is an American TV broadcaster and criminal investigator who was born on December 26, 1945.
He is best known for his participation on America’s Most Wanted, a reality show he founded after his son, Adam Walsh, was murdered.
According to his website, he has “aided authorities in the capture of over 1,200 fugitives and the return of over 50 missing children.”
Later in his career, he hosted the investigative series The Hunt With John Walsh, which was followed by In Pursuit With John Walsh.
Following the murder of his six-year-old son Adam in 1981, Walsh became involved in anti-crime campaigning.
The small boy was kidnapped from a Sears department store in Hollywood, Florida, in July 1981.
In 2008, serial killer Ottis Toole was formally identified as Adam’s killer.
Walsh is still a victim rights champion in 2021, at the age of 75, and has formed a political movement to aid missing and abused children.
The TV host slammed the police probe into the deceased YouTuber’s death and promised to assist in the search for Laundrie.

“I don’t know how he got out of the house with the FBI and local cops watching him at all hours of the day and night,” he claimed.
Authorities spent days investigating the 24,000-acre Florida preserve, which Walsh called a “red herring,” adding that he doesn’t believe Laundrie ever visited it.
“They spent all that income, looking for him now, a day late and a dollar short,” he told USA Today today.
“I understand the Fifth Amendment, and I realize that Brian and his family do not want to speak with cops, as nasty as that is, but the cops might demand proof of life.”
He also indicated that officers and an unmarked car should have been stationed outside the Laundrie home to follow anyone leaving.
Authorities, according to Walsh, wasted time and effort looking in the wrong places.
“(Laundrie) could stroll across the (Mexico) border nude with his hair on fire and nobody would notice him,” Walsh remarked in a Tonight ID special.
After an autopsy verified the body of Gabby Petito, 22, was discovered in Wyoming, the search for Laundrie continues.
Four weeks after vanishing from his parents’ Florida home, Laundrie is still missing.
