‘Wealthy and well-known’ Prince Harry’s autobiography is expected to be “hugely devastating” to the Royal Family.
PRINCE The Royal Family has been told that Harry’s impending memoir will be “hugely harmful.”
On Monday, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he will publish a book about his time as a member of the Royal Family.
The explosive book, according to royal author Robert Jobson, will “lead to confrontation” and harm the House of Windsor and the monarchy.
“As night follows day, this was always going to happen,” Mr Jobson told Femail.
“It will be a worldwide best-seller, but at what cost to the monarchy?” There will be no hiding places.”
The royal expert also expressed concern that the memoir could exacerbate tensions between Harry and Princes Charles and William.
“It will be immensely harmful to the House of Windsor and the Monarchy as an institution if Harry, as appears to be inevitable, goes into depth about mental health difficulties involving his wife and alleged racism at the heart of the royal family,” he warned.
“Harry is already quite wealthy and well-known, so I’m not sure what he’s attempting to accomplish, except from causing irreparable harm to his family, which a book like this will undoubtedly do. Whatever he says will cause a rift.
“It’s no surprise there’s a schism amongst the royal brothers, as well as issues with his father. When he’s doing this, how can any bridges be built?”
However, the Duke has already received a lot of reaction from detractors over his plan to publish a memoir.
Kirstie Allsopp, host of Location, Location, Location, chastised Harry for continuing to utilize his title to “sell books.”
