Von der Leyen’s EU Army plans are accelerated as Schengen’shifts into high gear.’

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen gave a boost to EU Army plans during a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.

While speaking in Paris for the inauguration of France’s rotating presidency of the European Council, Ms von der Leyen stated that the EU Commission will work with President Macron to strengthen the Schengen area and launch “Defense Europe.”

“We will work on strengthening space Schengen, shifting into high gear on Defence Europe, and deepening our partnership with Africa at our summit in Brussels in February,” she said.

She continued, “We have a lot of big projects ahead of us.”

“There’s the issue of climate change, for starters.

“We expect France’s EU presidency to assist us in achieving our 2030 goals, which include Fit for 55 and a just transition for all.”

“Let us shape Europe into a digital powerhouse shaped by our rules and values,” she continued.

“We’ve proposed ways to encourage innovation while also holding platforms accountable to their democratic responsibilities,” says the group.

“I’m expecting a swift response from France.”

She also mentioned the implementation of a new “European growth model.”

The ‘App of Lies,’ Donald Trump’s social media platform, has been defaced.

“In line with Next Generation EU, we’re working on a new European growth model,” she explained.

The author describes it as “competitive as well as social.”

“I also hope that during France’s EU presidency, we will be able to reach a quick agreement on the historic minimum tax reform.”

“In the coming years, I would like the EU to become aware of its power,” a senior French government official told Politico on Thursday, confirming the two leaders’ defense goals.

“Power not only provides you with wealth, but it also allows you to defend your values.”

“You can see how hesitant we are at times to defend our values in the face of China.

“We’re hesitant because we’re not powerful enough, we want access to the Chinese market, and we’re reliant on certain technologies,” says the entrepreneur.

“Power is a source of prosperity and self-sufficiency.”

“And it would be a fantastic political idea for the EU if we could all agree that it is preferable to be strong rather than weak, that it is preferable to be sovereign rather than vassal.”
