Update on Dog the Bounty Hunter: Dog resumes his pursuit for Brian Laundrie after suffering an ankle injury and having to cut short his honeymoon.
DOG the Bounty Hunter has revealed that he cut his honeymoon short to join the chase for Brian Laundrie in Florida after his ankle injury.
Dog is attempting to contact Brian’s sister Cassie, and has said that he abandoned his honeymoon in order to seek down the fugitive.
For weeks, Dog, whose actual name is Duane Chapman, has been searching for Brian Laundrie.
Last week, Dog advised Gabby Petito’s missing fiance that running “makes you appear guilty,” according to an exclusive interview with The Sun.
Dog told The Sun confidentially that “his best decision now would be to turn himself in,” and that Laundrie’s parents “need to be doing more to signal Brian to stop running.”
Gabby’s death was ruled a homicide by strangling, prompting the comments.
Gabby’s remains was discovered eight days after her family reported her missing in Grand Teton National Park.

STILL ON THE LOOKOUT
Lyssa Chapman, the reality TV star’s daughter, announced on Twitter on Sunday that her father, 68, had returned to Colorado due to an ankle ailment.
While he’s away, Dog is claimed to have put together a “skilled squad” to continue the quest in Florida, according to WFLA.
He’ll keep processing leads in Colorado and is soliciting donations to keep the “expensive” hunt going.
After Gabby’s cause of death was determined on Tuesday, Dog the Bounty Hunter, who joined the search for Brian last month, accused the Laundries of “stonewalling” the probe.
“I’m not sure how Brian’s parents can live with themselves after the way they treated the Petitos,” Dog stated.
“They need to do more to get Brian’s attention and tell him to stop running.”
BRIAN’S SISTER’S DOG WAS ‘DETERMINED’ TO CHAT
Brian Laundrie’s sister Cassie is being sought by Dog the Bounty Hunter, since her fugitive brother remains the only person of interest in the disappearance and homicide of his Gabby Petito.
The 68-year-old reality star is scouring the globe for Laundrie, who is wanted by police not for Petito’s death but for allegedly using her credit card while she was missing.
According to sources close to the bounty hunter, Dog, aka Duane Chapman, is interested in speaking with Laundrie’s sister Cassie.
Despite speculations to the contrary, Dog is still in Florida and resting after injuring his ankle earlier this week, according to TMZ sources.
On Wednesday, he was caught on camera banging on Cassie’s door but getting no response.
Given that Cassie spoke to a lot of protesters outside her Florida house earlier this month, Dog’s desire to speak with her could be good.
