UFOs are causing ‘national security issues,’ according to the Pentagon, which has confirmed that sighting footage is genuine.
After the US Pentagon acknowledged that footage obtained by naval members of a mystery object was legitimate, UFOs have been designated as a “national security threat.”
The Pentagon has acknowledged that UFO footage shot off the coast of California is genuine, claiming that the intriguing film was taken by US navy personnel. An unexplained item is seen travelling across the sky before diving into the ocean and disappearing. Following the US military’s rare decision to publicly confirm the incident, Jeremy Corbell, the documentary filmmaker who initially leaked the footage, labeled UFOs as a “national security risk.”
“Essentially what you are witnessing are beyond next-generational technology,” Mr Corbell told the Australian Sunrise breakfast show.
“What you’re witnessing is technology that outmaneuvers and outperforms anything we have in our military arsenals.
“This is a national security issue.
“Look, we can no longer deny the existence of UFOs.”
“There is a UFO presence on Planet Earth, and it is uniform over the globe in your nation, in my country,” he continued.
“The moment has come to reveal the truth regarding UFOs.
“We don’t know what they are yet because they are unidentified.
“However, we must find out.”
A camera onboard the USS Omaha captured the unidentified fly object on July 15, 2019.
Before the UFO dropped into the sea, sailors used the ship’s advanced targeting system to monitor it.
After the UFO vanished from their screen, one of the crewmen can be heard remarking, “Wow, it splattered.”
The US military has rarely made public statements to confirm or refute UFO encounters in the past.
“The linked photographs and videos were taken by Navy personnel,” a Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough acknowledged to The Sun in the instance of the July 2019 video.
In a recent interview with 60 Minutes, former Navy Lieutenant Ryan Graves described “unidentified airborne phenomenon” as a threat to US national security.
Between 2015 and 2017, Mr Graves and his colleagues observed similar things hundreds of times while on operation, he told the BBC.
In June, the Pentagon will release a long-awaited report on UFOs.
