UFO mania: A shocking poll reveals that the majority of Americans believe alien ETs exist.
According to new research, aliens and other UFO phenomena are real, at least according to the majority of Americans.
According to a Pew Research Center poll, around two-thirds of Americans believe alien life exists someplace among the stars. UFO fever has overtaken the United States in recent months, thanks to the release of the Pentagon’s long-awaited report on UFO encounters. Although the report did not confirm the existence of extraterrestrials, as many had hoped, it did not rule out the idea, which is a significant achievement in and of itself.
Just before the Pentagon study was released, the Pew Research Center conducted a poll to gauge public opinion on extraterrestrials.
More than 10,400 Americans were polled on the presence of aliens and the probability of extraterrestrials invading our planet.
Approximately 65 percent of those polled believe intelligent life exists on other worlds.
Only 34% of respondents stated extraterrestrial life “does not” exist on other worlds, with only 2% refusing to respond.
The study then inquired as to whether UFO sightings recorded by military personnel represent evidence of extraterrestrial life.
This time, 51 percent said yes, with 40 percent saying “probably” and 11 percent saying “certainly.”
However, the majority of Americans were skeptical of the premise, with 47 percent disapproving.
About 36% replied “probably not” and 11% said “definitely not” in response to the question.
Two percent of those polled refused to answer the question once more.
The likelihood of these unidentified objects being a harm to America’s national security is one of the points raised by the Pentagon’s UFO report.
The hypothesis that these UFOs or UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomenon) are advanced foreign technology has been postulated.
Only 10% of respondents polled said these items posed a “major threat” to the United States, according to the Pew research.
In comparison, only 36% believe they constitute a “small threat,” while 51% believe they are “not a threat.”
Three percent of respondents polled refused to answer the question once more.
The surveyors next questioned if respondents thought UFOs were hostile.
Surprisingly, 74 percent of respondents claimed they are neither aggressive nor friendly.
Only 17% thought UFOs were friendly, while 7% thought they were hostile.
Between June 14 and June 24, a poll of 10,417 US adults was performed – one. “Brinkwire Summary News.”
