Two police officers and a 61-year-old man were stabbed in Wood Green, London.

In Wood Green, north London, two Metropolitan Police officers and a 61-year-old man were assaulted.

An incident on Noel Park Road at around 7.20 p.m. on Friday night resulted in the hospitalization of two police officers and one man.

The 61-year-old male was stabbed, and one of the cops was slashed, according to the police department.

“While in a shared area, a man approached the policemen before assaulting them and the 61-year-old male who was with them,” Met police said in a statement.

“All three are still receiving care in the hospital.

“A man was arrested on suspicion of assault at the scene, and two other people were arrested as part of the inquiry.

“All three are still being held.”

A crime scene remains in the vicinity, according to the police.
