Fernandes to Man Utd?
Bruno Fernandes is in action for Sporting Lisbon so speculation over a move to Manchester United is likely to rumble on.
The Sporting Lisbon midfielder opened the scoring in the second minute of this evening’s pre-season friendly against St Gallen.
Fernandes has taken a professional approach to training since returning from his summer holidays.
Pepe to Arsenal?
Arsenal have launched a big-money bid for Lille sensation Nicolas Pepe, according to TF1.
Pepe has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs including Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United after an impressive campaign in Ligue 1.
A move to Paris Saint-Germain as a replacement for Barcelona target Neymar has also been talked up by the Ivory Coast international’s agent.
But, according to French broadcaster TF1, Arsenal have tabled an €80m (£72m) proposal.
Dias to Arsenal?
Arsenal are considering a swoop for Benfica defender Ruben Dias, according to the Daily Mail.
Unai Emery is on the hunt for a defender after Laurent Koscielny refused to travel to the USA for the team’s pre-season tour.
Dias has a £54m release clause, however, which is more than Arsenal’s transfer budget.
Gunners bosses are reportedly planning to negotiate a cheaper deal with Benfica.
Fernandes to Man Utd?
Manchester United plan to sign a central defender before swooping for Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes, according to A Bola.
Fernandes is being eyed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba.
Solskjaer is eager to recruit a centre-back before attempting to strengthen his midfield, however.
But a deal for Leicester City ace Harry Maguire is proving difficult to strike.
Trezeguet to Aston Villa?
Aston Villa have had a bid accepted for Trezeguet, according to Takvim.
Kasimpasa have given the green light to a £9.6m (€11m) offer from the Premier League new boys.
Dean Smith scouted Egypt international Trezeguet at the Africa Cup of Nations.
He is reportedly set to quickly complete the move to England.
Tierney to Arsenal?
Arsenal have increased their offer to £25m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, according to reports.
The Gunners have already had a £15m bid rejected by the Scottish champions earlier this summer.
But Unai Emery’s side have now returned with an improved bid for one of their priority targets.
According to The Sun, Celtic sources have said that Tierney’s move to Arsenal this summer is now ‘inevitable’.
